I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy around Australia because...

My daughter Ava was diagnosed at 8 years old and is now about to turn 12. She has spent countless hours in the hospital, numerous anti-seizure medications and still we haven't been 9 days without a seizure. Ava takes 21 tablets a day to ease her Epilepsy and unfortunately this hasn't made much of a difference. With the constant fear of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death by Epilepsy), watching your child as they have a seizure is the most painful and helpless feeling all at the same time. As a mother you want to do nothing more than 'fix' your child and most of all not worry that that won't be the last time you kiss them good night. I want to raise money and make a difference for people like Ava who are living with epilepsy. Please help me by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button.
