I’m taking part in Walk for Epilepsy because...

Just over 12 months ago Lewie our little nephew had his first seizure. A month later he was diagnosed with Epilepsy. What a journey the past year has been with lots of seizures and impacting every aspect of Lewie's life. Lewie has been so incredibly brave and resilient through it all! 💜

Since my sister and her family have moved back to Victoria they have received outstanding support from The Epilepsy Foundation of Australia and The Royal Childrens Hospital, together giving them hope and guidance in navigating Lewie's Epilepsy. 

They are just over a month out from October, which kicks off The Walk for Epilepsy Fundraiser. We are going to be Running through October to raise awareness of Epilepsy - a condition they knew little about until a year ago. We also aim to raise funds for The Epilepsy Foundation of Australia, which provides invaluable support to families facing Epilepsy.
