My Story - Daniel Close
Tuesday 19th Sep Recently, I had my first seizure in 3.5 years. This had been the longest period seizure free since being diagnosed with epilepsy in 2012. The physical recovery is one element, though the mental recovery is underestimated and an ever present challenge for epilepsy sufferers - depression, shame, loneliness and isolation are all potential side effects - some of these I've faced before and during the recovery of my most recent seizure.Thank you to my Sponsors
